Celebrating the Denver Advantage

fall 2020 slide show campus beauty selects

The wait is over. The three new buildings constructed under the Denver Advantage Campus Framework Plan are all open and ready to deliver a world-class student experience.

Among its many amenities, the 132,000-square-foot Community Commons is home to the Rebecca Chopp Grand Central Market, spacious lounges for students and faculty, and outdoor patio space that affords breathtaking views.

The Dimond Family Residential Village, named in recognition of the Dimond Family Foundation, brings first-year students together in an environment designed to foster community and learning. With more than 250 rooms, the residential village can house upwards of 500 students.

The Burwell Center for Career Achievement, meanwhile, provides welcoming spaces for students to work with career counselors and alumni mentors to formulate professional and life goals. The center is named in honor of Barbara Burwell, the late Rod Burwell and their sons, all DU alumni, whose generosity made the facility a reality.
