Penrose at Driscoll is open

Library services began at the Driscoll Ballroom on June 20.

Patrons will find most services there for the duration of a $32 million project to update the inside and outside of the Penrose Library.

Services at Driscoll include circulation, document delivery, course reserves, the Research Center, the Writing Center and the computer lab.

A few services — such as Quick Copy, Special Collections, archives and the Center for Teaching and Learning — will remain in Penrose for a few weeks. Patrons needing to access these services should follow posted signs to an alternate entrance.

All library services and materials will be out of Penrose Library by July 12.

During renovations, library materials will be housed at the Hampden Center and patrons can access materials by using the “Request it” button in the Penrose online catalogue.
